The president of Nintendo, Satoru Iwata made a comment on the DSi that has gotten all the fan boys and girls all excited. He made a comment about a DSi phone service that we may see really soon.

His exact comment is as follows and I quote “Nintendo would not release a console that could be used as a mobile phone unless it could do so without the need for a monthly subscription.”

Then a bit later he openly revealed that Nintendo is not making a phone. Well so far the new DSi already have WiFi so to add a free calling service for the gamers shouldn’t be a big task for Nintendo.

We are really looking for the announcement, although they didn’t say that is what they will be doing but he gave us a hint…
