Last week Nikon announced the arrival of four new compact digital cameras which included the Nikon CoolPix S1000pj which features the world’s first built-in projector, Nikon CoolPix S570, Nikon CoolPix S70 and the Nikon CoolPix S640 Digital Camera.

The CoolPix S640 is a 12.2 megapixels camera that was made with speed and affordability in mind and features a 2.7-inch Clear Color LCD Display (no touchscreen) along with a stylish all metal body.

Other features of the Nikon CoolPix S640 includes a 5x Wide Angle NIKKOR lens, ISO from 100-6400, 4-way VR Image Stabilization, Nikon’s Smart Portrait System, Movie Mode and Scene Auto Selector Mode. The Nikon CoolPix S640 will be available in September with a price tag of $249.95 and comes in colors like: Calm Black, Velour Red, Precious Pink and Pearl White.
