Newsmy announces a new Portable Media Player which comes with the capability to playback HD 720p video playback. It features a 3-inch LCD display with a 320×240 pixel resolution and support for media files which includes RMVB/RM, FLV, AVI video and MP3, WMA, APE, FLAC audio files.

The Newsmy A36HD comes in two different models, one with 4GB internal storage and the other with 8GB plus a microSD slot for memory expansion. Additional specs includes a image viewer and a text reader, it is priced at 399 Chinese Yuan.
