NEC announced the addition of three new desktop monitors to its AccuSync Series. The new LCD Monitors are the AccuSync AS191, AS191WM and AS221WM LCD Monitors, with two are 19-inch sizes and one being 22-inch size.

The AccuSync AS191 and AS191WM are both 19-inch widescreen while the AS221WM is 22-inch in size with a 1680×1050 resolution, the AccuSync AS191 has a 1280×1024 resolution and the AccuSync AS191WM offers a 1440×900 resolution. All three monitors are energy-efficient consuming 48% less energy than their predecessors and come with EPEAT Silver rating, and ENERGY STAR 5.0 and TCO 5.0 compliance. There is also a 250cd/m2 brightness, 1000:1 contrast ratio (AS191 has 900:1), 5ms response time and tilt adjustability in the new LCD Monitors.

The AS221WM will begin shipping in October 2009 with an estimated street price of $249. The AS191 and AS191WM will begin shipping in November 2009 with an estimated street price of $199 and $189.
