MSI Wind U100 Netbook Gets Windows 7 Update

MSI has announced that it will be updating its Wind U100 Netbook with the new Windows 7 OS. The MSI Wind U100 was unveiled in early 2008 and later launched the Wind U100 Valentine Edition for the lovers. They later expanded the Wind Netbook lineup with the Wind U120 and Wind U150 Netbooks.

Just like most Netbooks, the MSI Wind U100 features a 10-inch LCD display and packs the power of a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 Processor, 160GB Hard Drive, 1GB of RAM and ran the Windows XP OS. Well the new version runs the Windows 7 Starter Edition and comes in two different edition, one with a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 Processor and one which is a bit faster that has the power of a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N280 processor. Both of the new models comes with a 250GB Hard Drive and will be available in the United States soon.
