Who-Rae, an Australia base company, brings us the MapLock GPS – Anti Theft Device. It protects your GPS Navigation unit from unwanted intruders, it does this by hooking to your GPS device and locking it to your steering wheel, GPS Units are the number one stolen item from within vehicles worldwide. The device recently won the Popular Mechanics Editor’s Choice Award at SEMA in Las Vegas.
There is no release date announced as yet for the GPS Lock, since its still on the patent pending stage.
