Lenovo introduces its new ThinkPad X200 Multi-Touch Tablet PC which features a two-finger capacitive multitouch screen and packs the power of a Core 2 Duo processor. Along with the new Tablet the company also announced the Lenovo’s SimpleTap, it is an application that brings simplicity to the multitouch screen experience. It brings up an icon-based control panel for settings like volume, screen brightness, and other system functions, as well as quick app and web bookmark launchers.

Lenovo also announced a new multitouch version of the Lenovo ThinkPad T400s Laptop which was announced back in June. Both devices will be available starting immediately through business partners and Lenovo online and starts at approximately $1,999 for the ThinkPad T400s with the multitouch screen and $1,654 and $1,704, respectively while SimpleTap will be available for download after October 22.
