Lenovo has announced its new Intel CULV Notebook right after the release of the IdeaPad U150 Notebook. The IdeaPad U550 Notebook comes in two different models, the IdeaPad U550-374955U comes with an 1.3GHz Intel Core 2 Duo SU7300 Processor, ATI Radeon HD4330 graphics card with 512MB video RAM, 320GB Hard Drive and 4GB of DDR3 memory. Then there is the IdeaPad U550-37495EU which sports a Intel 1.3GHz Pentium Dual Core SU1400, Intel GMA 4500MHD video chip, 250GB Hard Drive and 3GB of RAM.

Both models have a 15.6-inch LED-backlight LCD display with a 1366×768 resolution, a DVD Burner, a 1.3 Megapixel webcam, Bluetooth 2.1 +EDR and a fingerprint scanner. The U550-374955U gets Intel’s Wireless Wi-Fi/WiMAX Link 5150 module for WiMAX and WiFi support while the less advanced U550-37495EU comes with Broadcom’s WiFi 802.11b/g module.

The IdeaPad U550-374955U and IdeaPad U550-37495EU are priced at $799 and $679, respectively.
