LaCie recently launched a new external hard drive in France. The launch was done in late November, the LaCie Internet Space 2 Ethernet Hard Drive. It is the predecessor to the LaCie Internet Space, come with a 1TB storage capacity and look very similar to the LaCie Network Space 2.

The Internet Space 2 supports Ethernet connection so you can connect the drive to your home network for file sharing or even UPnP/DLNA compliant device for media streaming. There is also a new web interface that allows the users to access their files anytime, anywhere. The NAS Storage Device is available now for a price of 179.90 euro
