Other than the LaCie Rugged XL the company also introduced the 4big Quadra 4-bay Bundle RAID solution which offers up to 32TB of storage capacity.

Each units comes with four drives that can be swapped with each having up to 8TB capacity and offers seven RAID modes. The 4big Quadra Bundle combines two or four 4big Quadra via eSATA and uses the LaCie eSATA II PCI Express Card. The Bundle with two 4big Quadra offers a transfer speeds of up to 400MB per second while the bundle with four 4big Quadra offers a transfer speed of up to 700MB per second.

The 4big Quadra Bundles will be available next month and going at approximately $2000 per unit and will be coming with three different configurations.
