Other than the release of the Kodak EasyShare Z950 and the M381, the company recently announced the Kodak Zi8 HD Camcorder also which should be a successor to the Kodak Zi6 Pocket Camcorder. The Zi8 Camcorder features a 2.5-inch colour LCD screen which is just a tincy bit bigger than the 2.4-inch display on the Zi6.

The Kodak Zi8 also boast 1080p high definition video capture which is a step up from the 720p found on the Zi6. There are other specs like built-in electronic image stabilization, face detection for both videos and still images, a 5 megapixel snapper, it even has the option to upload movies and still images to Facebook and YouTube.

The Kodak Zi8 will be released by September in the UK in the colors of aqua, raspberry and black for a price of around £149.99
