Kingston Technologies announces its new multi-card reader, the MobileLite G2 Memory Card Reader. It is a portable multi memory card reader which supports SD/SDHC, microSD/SDHC, Memory Stick Pro DUO, MS PRO-HG Duo and Memory Stick Micro (M2) cards. The memory card reader features retractable covers on each side to protect the USB connector and the Flash memory cards from damage.

It is compatible with a variety of operating systems which includes Windows 7/Vista/XP/2000, Mac OS X 10.3 or above and Linux 2.6 or above. It uses USB 2.0 interface and comes with a short USB extension cable and is available in three different models: the FCR-MLG2 – MobileLiteG2 Flash Card Reader which is priced at $11, the FCR-MLG2+SD4/4GB – MobileLiteG2 + 4GB Class 4 SDHC which is priced at $28.50 and the FCR-MLG2+SD4/8GB – MobileLiteG2 + 8GB Class 4 SDHC which runs for $46.
