JBL Creature III Speaker System
Harman International who is the parent company of Harman Kardon announces the availability of the JBL Creature III Three-Piece Speaker System. The JBL Creature III is compatible with all computer platforms, along with analog stereos, game consoles, digital music players and personal CD players. It features two satellite speakers, each with a 40mm sound drivers, 5W output and a subwoofer which has a 75mm driver and 15W output.
The JBL Creature III System is compatible with both Mac and PC, it comes with a futuristic design which is available in the colors of black and white for $129.99

The BASS and TREBLE controls are BACKWARDS! Turning either knob to (+) DECREASES its effect, while turning either knob to (-) INCREASES its effect. Played around in the Apple Store for 10 minutes with this, and could not believe that this was not caught by quality control. Unbelievable, but true.
As for sound, I’d rate them a 4 (out of 5). Midrange is weak, but this can be corrected with the equalizer in iTunes. Bass had a slight buzz, too.
