Getac is now upgrading its V100 Rugged Tablet PC, the V100 Rugged Notebook will now be powered by an 800MHz front bus and 3MB L2 cache, 4GB RAM and 160GB-320GB hard drive.

The V100 has a 10.4-inch LED-backlight touchscreen display and specs such as a SD card slot, WiFi 802.11n connectivity, Bluetooth connectivity, an ExpressCard slot and GPS capability. As the work “rugged” implies the V100 features full magnesium alloy case and shock protected hard drive and sealed ports and connectors.

The V100 is ready for heavy rain, airborne dust and the drop shock resistant for hard falls.
