Gemalto introduces the Protiva Smart Guardian Security USB Device, it is a smart card enabled personal security USB device that offers digital data integrity and data loss prevention for enterprises. The Smart Guardian device combines proven secure smart card technology from Gemalto and secure flash technology from Lexar.

The Smart Guardian FIPS is a FIPS-140-2 level 3 certified personal security device, designed to meet the U.S. Government DAR program security requirements and protects portable data with Gemalto’s proven smart card technology. It is compatible with both Windows and Mac OS and is available in 2GB and 4GB configurations.
