Garmin unveils Dakota Handheld GPS for Outdoors

Garmin Dakota 20 Handheld GPS
Garmin has announced the launch of a new lineup of Handheld GPS for the great outdoors. The new lineup is the Dakota Line which features the Dakota 10 and the Dakota 20. Both of these handheld GPS navigation devices features a 2.6-inch Touchscreen LCD display, there is a high-sensitivity GPS receiver and can store up to 200 tracks, 1,000 waypoints, 50 routes, 2,000 geocaches and an active tracklog of up to 10,000 points on its 850MB of internal memory.

The Dakota 20 has a MicroSD slot to expand on the internal memory and has additional features such as an electronic compass, a barometric altimeter, and wireless data transfer between compatible units. Both devices will give you up to 20 hours of operational time from two AA batteries. Both devices are lightweight and rugged and will work with both Mac and PC.
