Ambiance Technology unveiled its new ebook reader, the Digibook ADB-106 e-Book Reader. It features a 6-inch gray-scale Electronic Paper Display with a 600×800 pixel resolution and is powered by a Samsung Arm 9 Core Processor, 64MB SDRAM and runs the Linux 2.6 operating system.

With the Ambiance Digibook you can take more then 1.000 books with you in the size less then a small paperback. The Digibook supports e-books in the following formats, TXT, PDF, EPUB, RTF, TCR, PDB, PRC,MOBI, OPF, OEB,HTM, HTML, CHM,FB2, DJVU, IW44, IW4, DJV (Text Format), JPEG, PNG, TIF, GIF, BMP images and MP3 Audio files. The device also has a card slot which supports SD and MMC cards plus there is built-in language support for English, German, French, Spanish, Dutch,Portuguese, Italian, Russian.
