Dell yesterday confirmed the availability of the Vostro 1220 Notebook PC. The Vostro is a business oriented Notebook which features a 12.1-inch WXGA Glossy display with a 1,200 x 800 resolution and is powered by an Intel processor where you the consumer has the option to choose between a 2.20GHz Celeron or 2.4GHz Core 2 Duo, 1GB or 2GB of RAM and a 4-cell battery plus there are 6-cell batteries optional too.

There are also specs such as three USB 2.0 ports, a FireWire Port, a 1.3 megapixel webcam, a multi card reader, WiFi Connectivity and a ExpressCard slot. However the Dell Vostro 1220 is only available in Japan for a starting price of 79,980 Yen which is in the $800 range when to converter to United States currency.
