Dell Precision M6500 Mobile Workstation
Yesterday Dell announced the Precision M6500 Mobile Workstation what claims to be the world’s most powerful mobile workstation and also the the first mobile workstation to get Intel Core i7 Processor. The Dell Precision M6500 comes with a choice of either Core i7 or Core i7 Extreme Edition processor, a choice of 1GB ATI FirePro M7740, 1GB NVIDIA Quadro FX 2800M, or 1GB Quadro FX 3800M graphics cards, up to three 500GB hard drive or 256GB SSD with up to 16GB DDR3 RAM.

When it comes to the display, you also will have to choose between a 17-inch WXGA+ UltraSharp LED display with a 1440 x 900 resolution or a 17-inch WXGA+ UltraSharp LED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200. The Dell Precision M6500 Mobile Workstation wouldn’t be the most powerful if it didn’t support WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS as well as HSPA/EVDO 3G network. There are also four USB 2.0 ports, an 8-in-1 card reader, built-in speakers, a display port, eSATA, optional fingerprint scanner, optional smartcard reader and runs the Windows 7 OS (also supports 32-bit and 64-bit versions plus Red Hat Linux 5.3 64-bit). Pricing for the Dell Precision M6500 starts at $2,749
