Corsair has launched its newest SSD Storage, dubbed the Extreme X256 CMFSSD-256D1 which offers a read speeds of up to 240MB/s and a write speed of 170MB/s and comes with 64MB cache memory.

The Corsair Extreme X256 SSD has a 256GB storage capacity and uses a SATA II 3.0Gb/s interface. It is based on Samsung MLC NAND flash memory and will set you back $695 to own.
