Apple releases the iPhone SDK

Apple has released the iPhone 2.0 software beta version but will not be available to customers until june 2008. The SDK tools and a bunch of tutorials are already available at Apple’s developer website. For those of you that have their hands itching - you might just download all the available stuff and have a go for free. Now developers can develop applications for the most hyped phone on the market at this time.

New PS3 Bundles in Europe

New PS3 Bundles
March 19 expect some new bundles for PS3 will be out in Europe. It includes three Blu-ray flicks: Spider-man 3, 300, and Casino Royale. The second includes a copy of Gran Turismo 5 Prologue; this one should hit Euro retailers by March 29. The new bundles are 40GB (only available in europe) that comes with a price tag of €399.

Samsung P10 Battery Melts

Samsung P10 battery melts
South Korea’s fire department today reported that a battery in a Samsung P10 notebook computer melted and started a fire after it was being used for approximately three and a half hours on a pillow. The battery caused minor burns to a bed and the floor, but didn’t cause a major fire.

HD DVD officially dead

HD DVD is DeadOn January 4th Warner Bros announced that they will be going exclusively with blu-ray, to contribute to the dead of the beloved HD DVD. Today public broadcaster NHK in Japan reported that Toshiba will scrap production of HD DVD players and recorders and that they also will take other steps to exit the business of HD DVD.

Vista Service Pack 1 release date moved up.

Windows Vista Service Pack 1
Microsoft has announced that it will make the Service Pack 1 update available this month to some consumers. The service pack will be made available to MSDN and TechNet Plus subscribers, many of whom lashed out at Microsoft on its TechNet Plus blog with venomous comments.

Michigan Boy Burnt By Pocketed PlayStation

A Farmington Hills, Mich., middle school boy felt something warming up in his pocket during band class and when he checks, it was his Sony Playstation PSP heating up to the point of causing second-degree burns even thought this is ironic that the disc he had in was a popular driving game “Burnout”.
