Cowon O2 and S9 coming november

Cowon has officially announced that the new O2 and S9 will be available to consumer in November 2008. The O2 is a 4.3-inch (480×272px) AMOLED player with DMB support and should be priced for a price of around $698. The O2 supports a wide range of audio/video formats, MP3/2/1, WMA, ASF, AC3, FLAC, OGG, M4A, Lyrics, MATROSKA (MKA), TTA, APE, MPC, WV, WAV, AVI, WMV, ASF, MP4, MATROSKA (MKV), OGM, MPG/MPEG, DAT, MTV, Lyrics, AVI, WMV, MP4/H.264 plus graphics formats like JPG, GIF and PNG.

The S9 has not been priced as yet however we know it is a 3.3-inch player with a touchscreen display, bluetooth, a microphone, FM tuner, TV output and will be available in 4GB, 8GB, 16GB and 32GB storage capacities. More photos after the break

The EPOS- lite is a design concept for a tablet that will take your order and also serves as a wireless payment device. It is a low maintenance product that can be charged same place on your table top using a wireless charging option, (must be some new technology.)

Stephen Allport, the designer who came up with this concept, I guess he was tired of the same old order and payment ritual. Plus the fact that the person billing your card is unknown to you.

Sandisk has launches the world’s first 16GB microSD HC Card (HC meaning Higher Capacity). Now you can look out for new handsets having a lot of storage for media.

And a note for you, only the newest handsets will support HC cards. So before you going looking for the 16GB microSD make sure you have a capable handset. For example if your handset supports a 8GB HC card it should be able to support the 16GB. Newer type handsets are BlackBerry Bold and the Samsung Omnia.

Panasonic’s fabled Toughbook line has justed been added a new member the Panasonic F8 Toughbook. Panasonic is say that the F8 is the world’s lightest 3G-ready notebook.

The F8 is a 14.1-inch system that weighs 3.7 pounds and has a built-in carry handle for you easy carrying. The Toughbook features a standard Intel Core 2 Duo CPU, up to 4GB of RAM, a 160GB shock-mounted hard drive, 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, spill-resistant keyboard and Gobi 3G Technology. The Toughbook F8 will be available in november 2008.

The Yo Yo concept charger by Swedish designer, Peter Thuvander will make you go in circles. The iYo induction battery charger is actually a yo yo with a tiny lithium ion battery, the yo-yo build up a charge during play that charges your low battery afterwards.

The iYo yo-yo phone charger targets mainly iPods and iPhones but hopefully will be compatible with all gadgets.

AT&T has officially announced the HTC Touch Pro as the AT&T Fuze, AT&T’s HTC FUZE is a 3G HSDPA PDA smartphone and is backed by the Windows Mobile 6 Operating System.

The Fuze features a 512MB Flash memory and 288MB of RAM, 2.8-inch touch display, a 3.2 Megapixel camera, GPS, A-GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth and a Qualcomm MSM 7201A 528MHz processor. The HTC Fuze also supports Microsoft Direct Push, Good Mobile Messaging, and Blackberry Connect plus AT&T has added some of its cool features such as it’s Cellular Video (CV), HBO Mobile, ESPN, AT&T Mobile Music and AT&T Navigator services.
