Sony recently announced some new digital voice recorders, the new voice recorder line up includes the ICD-SX750, ICD-SX850 series, ICD-BX800 series and ICD-PX820 series. The elegantly styled ICD-SX750 and ICD-SX850 digital voice recorders features superlative audio quality and a ultra-long record time. These two also supports MP3, WMA playback and record in MP3, LPEC and Linear PCM formats while other models records in only mp3.

The SX750 has 2GB of internal storage while the SX850 has 4GB. There is the ICD-SX850DR bundle that comes with a handy USB docking station plus the acclaimed Dragon NaturallySpeaking 10 Recorder Edition software on CD-ROM. The ICD-BX800 and ICD-PX820 models all have 2GB of memory and use two AAA batteries. The ICD-BX800M and ICD-PX820M models have tie-clip microphone and the ICD-PX820D includes the Dragon NaturallySpeaking 10 Recorder Edition software.

Dell rolls out a new Short Throw Wireless Projector, the S300w which is ideal for classrooms and conference rooms. The Dell S300w offers 1280×800 WXGA resolution, 2200ANSI lumens brightness, 2,400:1 contrast ratio, 0.521 wide and tele throw ratio, 80% Typical Uniformity. It uses WiFi 802.11b/g wireless connectivity which gives the projector the capability to wirelessly connect up to 20 PCs simultaneously and supports 4-to-1 split-screen projection.

The S300w is based on DLP and BrillianColor technologies. It features OSRAM 190 user-replaceable lamp with up to 5000 hours of life and connectivity for HDMI, S-video, VGA and Composite inputs. Unlike some projectors, the S300w doesn’t cast shadows on the presentation screen when the presenter is between the projector and the screen. This makes for clear, understandable presentations. The 3-D-capable Dell S300w Short Throw Wireless Projector is priced at $999.

Virgin Media 3D-ready V HD box Unveiled
Virgin Media has announced that it’s going to be launching a set-top box, the 3D-reader V HD Box. The The V HD Box has the capability to access the six new HD channels that the broadcaster has announced this year. With the Box users can watch ITV, Eurosport, Discovery, Sci Fi, E4 and Film4 in high definition as soon as they are launched later this year. They also get access to other channels including BBC and Channel 4 HD channels.

The box is 3D-ready, and comes with HDMI, SCART, USB and ethernet ports. It offers PVR functionality, but just has a single tuner. The V HD Box will be available without extra subscription fees, users will only pay £49 for the box, plus installation costs of about £15 if you can put it together yourself, or £35 for an engineer.

Samsung America today announced the imminent availability of its first-ever eReader product for the US market. If you don’t remember the device comes with a 6-inch e-ink display at 600 x 800 resolution with 8-Gray scale for easy readability, integrated front speakers, Samsung’s text-to-speech (TTS) technology, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.0.

There is also 2GB of internal storage for your e-books and can be upgraded to 16GB using a microSD card. The e-book reader supports E-pub, PDF/a, TXT, BMP and JPG files. It utilizes Samsung’s unique EmoLink technology enables users to share content between Samsung eReader devices. In addition, a built-in dedicated program will sync the eReader scheduler with users’ personal PC Outlook.

AIPTEK Z20
Aiptek, a Taiwan company recently introduced the PocketCinema Z20 at CeBIT 2010. It is a combination of a pico projector and a HD camcorder in a palm-sized device. The PocketCinema Z20 uses RGB technology that produces a wide range of true colors in high contrast and can project images up to 65-inch in 2 meter distance.

The Z20 is capable of recording 1280×720p HD videos and 5 megapixel images. The device has touch-sensitive backlight buttons, a built-in Li-ion battery, 2GB of internal storage and supports microSD cards up to 32GB. There is also connectivity HDMI, composite video input and a remote control is also included.
