Nokia has unveiled the first member of its upcoming Nokia C series, the C5 Smartphone. This new smartphone doesn’t have a QWERTY keyboard, instead there is a regular number pad. All I see worthy of anticipating on this new smartphone is its integration with Nokia’s free navigation application, Ovi Maps and the phonebook feature which enables the user to see their friends and contacts Facebook status’s as well as send them messages direct from the phone book.

There is a 2.2-inch display screen, a 3.2 megapixel camera and a 2GB microSD card in the box. The phone has the capability to support up to 16GB micrSD card. The Nokia C5 Smartphone will become available in Europe in the second quarter of 2010 for 135 Euros about $182.

Nokia announces the 6303i Classic Mobile Phone which is an upgrade to the 6303 Classic Mobile Phone. It features some improvements which includes better battery life and better support for social messaging.

There is a 2.2-inch LCD display, a 3.2 Megapixel camera with dual LED flash and video recorder, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, built-in media player, FM tuner, 55MB internal memory and a microSD card slot. The 6303i will be shipped in Q1 2010 and comes in silver or khaki gold.

It was released as a special edition music phone which gives music lovers access to unlimited download of music from Nokia’s Music Store catalogue over a 12 or 18 month period. Other than the awesome music offers the Nokia 5235 features a 3.2-inch TFT touchscreen display with a 360 x 640 pixel resolution, a 2 megapixel camera, Bluetooth 2.0, quad-band GSM/EDGE, dual-band HSPA, GPS with Ovi Maps, 3.5mm audio jack and microSD card slot.

The Nokia 5235 Music Phone will be launched in the first quarter of 2010 with a retail shipping price of 145 euros before taxes.

Nokia has announced a special Gold Edition of its Nokia 6700 Classic Mobile Phone. The Nokia 6700 Classic Gold Edition comes a few days behind Samsung’s Omnia HD Gold Edition Mobile Phone and features a 18-carat gold finish along with some custom wallpapers to complete the gold look, natural leather carrying case, strap and a 8GB microSD card.

It features the same colored display of the original Nokia 6700 Classic along with a 5 Megapixel camera, A-GPS support with Nokia Maps. The Gold Edition will be released in Q1 2010 for Euro 370.

Along with the Nokia 6700 Slide, the Nokia 7230 3G Slider Phone was also announced today. The Nokia 7230 Slider features a 2.4 inch TFT display with a 320 x 240 pixel resolution, there is a 3.2 megapixel camera which has a dedicated key for quick launch, a built in FM radio, bluetooth connectivity and a 2GB microSD card.

The phone also comes with a Nokia WH-102 headset and has integrated shortcuts to a number of social networking sites including Facebook. The Nokia 7230 will be available for a price of 100 Euros which is approximately $150 US.

Nokia introduces the Nokia 6700 Slide, it is a new 3G Slider Phone and the latest member of the Nokia 6700 Series of Mobile Phones. The Nokia 6700 Slide will be released in Europe during the first quarter of 2010, it features a 2.2 inch QVGA display with 320 x 240 resolution, 5 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optic, dual LED flash and video recording capability and is available in a series of funky colors which includes pink, red, petrol blue, aluminium, lime and purple.

It features a slimline design with an aluminum finish and accepts microSD cards for storage with support for up to 16GB cards. If you wish you get one of the Nokia 6700 Slide Mobile Phone when they surface it will cost you 160 Euros or approximately $240 in you live in the United States.

This new entertainment hub combines a mobile broadcast TV (DVB-H), social networking, music and gaming in one compact 3G device. The new Mobile TV Phone features a 2.4-inch full-colour LCD display and a 3.5mm headphones jack which allows the user to enjoy DVB-H mobile TV broadcast on-the-go.

There is also a 3 Megapixel camera with LED flash, support fot A-GPS with Nokia Maps, Bluetooth, FM tuner, microSD card slot and support for UMTS 3G network. It offers a battery life of up to six hours of DVB-H TV from a full charge and will cost 155 Euros before taxes and subsidies.
