LG InTouch Max is the LG LinkMe in Italy

The recently launched LG InTouch Max has just been launched in Italy but gets a different name for that region. It is know as the LG LinkMe, it carries the same basic features which includes a 3 inch HVGA resistive touchscreen display, a full QWERTY keyboard, HSPA, Wi-Fi, A-GPS, full HTML browser, access to Android Market, and LinkBook which gives the user easy access to social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter.

As LG’s first android-powered smartphone it runs the Android 1.5 OS and comes with a 1GB memory card in the box plus a 5 megapixel camera that has autofocus and LED flash. The LG GW620 has been available in the UK via T-Mobile and Virgin Media since last month for free with a contract, however it is available in Italy for approximately 299 euros which is US$405

LG GS500 Cookie Plus Full Touchscreen Smartphone

LG G500 Cookie Plus Smartphone
LG has unveiled a new Touchscreen Smartphone which will be rolled out to 45 countries beginning with France and Italy in early March. The handset is the LG GS500 which is dubbed the LG Cookie Plus, this is a full touchscreen device, it offers a 3-inch TFT resistive touchscreen with a 240 x 400 pixels resolution. Other specifications includes a 3 megapixel camera, MP3 player FM tuner, HSDPA 7.2 Mbps and a fun graphical interface with widgets and social networking connectivity like Facebook, Twitter and Flickr.

There is bluetooth connectivity, LG’s unique peer management application, LiveSquare, adds a visually dynamic and interactive dimension to keeping up with one’s closest contacts and it is 3G enabled.

LG GT540 Swift Android Smartphone unveiled

LG GT540 Swift Android Smartphone
At the CES, LG announced the LG GT540 Swift Android-Powered Smartphone. It is one of the latest full touch handset from LG, it comes with specs such as a 3 megapixel camera, a 3.5mm headphone jack, support for 3G with HSDPA as well as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.

We know it has a full touch LCD display but no word on the size, it has 2 touch-sensitive buttons for navigation, there is GPS and Google Mobile Services including Google Maps, Gmail and YouTube. The LG GT540 also supports microSD cards up to 32GB, it is expected to hit stores in April 2010 but price and carrier are still unknown. It runs Android OS but the version is unknown right now.

LG SU630 Chocolate Black Label Series Christmas Edition

LG unveils a Christmas Edition to its BL40 Chocolate, the LG SU630 Chocolate Black Label Series. There is only one difference between the Christmas Edition Chocolate Phone to the original Chocolate is that the Christmas Edition has a 8 Megapixel camera with autofocus.

The Chocolate Christmas Edition will be available in limited quantities in Korea from December the 10th. Customers will also receive a voucher for a prize of up to 5-million Korean Won or around $4,000.

LG POP GD510 Mobile Phone coming in Mid October

LG Electronics announced its new compact full touchscreen phone, the LG GD510. It is a the newest Eco-Friendly Mobile Phone from LG, it can be recharged utilizing the power of the sun. It features a 3-inch full touchscreen and a narrow 4.8mm bezel and smooth metal body with a single button on the front that communicates the phone’s sense of simplicity. Ten minutes under the sun provides up to 2 minutes 15 seconds of talk time or up to 180 minutes of standby time. Features like Eco-tree and Eco-calculator under the phone’s CO2 menu allow people to track how much they have reduced CO2 emissions by using the solar cell battery.

“By 2012, LG plans to reduce the amount of greenhouse gases emitted by our products to a level 15 percent lower than 2007 by enhancing the energy efficiency of our main products,” added Dr. Ahn. “We will continue our role as a socially responsible leader in the mobile industry.”

So if you plan to go-green you can start with the LG POP GD510. It will be available in Europe beginning in mid-October, prices will vary from Market to Market.

LG BL20 newchocolate Slider Mobile Phone

Remember the LG Touch Chocolate that we highlighted here back in July, well LG Germany has just unveiled a brother of the Touch Chocolate, the LG BL20 Slider Chocolate Mobile Phone. The new LG Slider phone features a 2.4-inch LCD display with a 240×320 pixel resolution along with a 5 megapixel camera that has autofocus, Schneider-Kreuznach lens, LED flash and the capability to record videos.

Other features includes a built-in media player which supports WMA, AMR, MIDI, AAC, AAC+, MP3 and 3GP formats, there is an internet browser, 130MB of internal storage and a microSD card slot for expansion on your memory up to 8GB. The BL20 newchocolate supports quad-band GSM and dual band UMTS/HSDPA networks and will be available in October for a suggested market price of 269 euros.

LG GW620 is the company’s first Android Phone

LG GW620
After seeing Motorola announce their first Android Phone, the CLIQ. LG is also announcing its first Android Phone, the GW620. The new LG Android Phone boast a 3-inch full touchscreen display and a slide-out Qwerty Keyboard for those users who need their phones for more than just to make a call.

LG ‘Cookie’ and ‘Lollipop’ Mobile Phones

If someone should say to me that they have a Cookie and a Lollipop for me then I would be thinking about something sweet to eat, but if LG should say that they has a cookie and a lollipop then you would know it must be a sweet consumer electronic. Yes it is today LG announced it new colored ‘Cookie’ and ‘Lollipop’ phones in Korea market.

The LG Cookie comes with a 3-inch WQVGA full touchscreen LCD which has a widget UI and other hot specs which includes a 3 megapixel camera, Media Player, FM Tuner and Bluetooth Connectivity. The there is the LG Lollipop (yes the same LG Lollipop we featured here before) which boast a clamshell design which targets young adults in the age range of 17 to 23-year old. The phone has 220 LED lights which gives the user the ability to customize their phone with 22 different emoticons on the front panel.
