HTC Legend Android Eclair 2.1 Phone
HTC has announced the Legend Android 2.1 Phone, this new smartphones features a 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen display with a 320×480 resolution and features a designed that looks like a redesigned HTC Hero running Android 2.1 Eclair with the enhanced HTC Sense.

Other specs includes a G-sensor, Digital compass, proximity sensor and a optical joystick instead of a trackball. There is also a 5 Megapixel auto focus camera with flash, Bluetooth, GPS, WiFi and a microSD/SDHC slot. The new Android-powered handset is expected to be out by April 2010.

HTC HD2 gets battery pack built-in kickstand
The HTC HD2 will be getting an accessory that will double its battery life and enable it to stand up in either portrait or a landscape orientation for viewing videos. The HD2 battery comes from the UK electronics retailer Clove, it is basically a thicker battery that replaces the regular ones and has a longer battery life with a kickstand.

It should be out by February for the price of $73, there is no word if it will be available in North America anytime soon.

Google Launches the Nexus One Phone

Google finally unveiled the Nexus One Smartphone which has been highly discussed since images first surfaced about a month ago. The new Nexus Smartphone was also launched with a web store hosted by Google, where consumers can purchase Android Mobile Phones.

The Nexus comes with the latest in hardware from HTC Corporation with the newest Android software. Specs of the Google Nexus One includes a 3.7-inch AMOLED WVGA display with a 480×800 pixel resolution, it packs the power of an Qualcomm 1GHz Snapdragon 3G QSD8250 chipset, 512MB Flash, 512MB RAM plus a 4GB SD Card which can be expanded to 32GB. There is a Tri-color notification LED trackball which notifies you when there is an email or new text message. Other specs includes a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus, flash and geo-tagging, 3.5mm stereo headphone jack, a 1400 mAh battery and runs the Android 2.1 Eclair software.

AT&T has unveiled two new Windows Mobile Smartphones which will be available at their retail stores across the United States. The new Smartphones are the HTC Tilt 2 and the HTC Pure, both of these two smartphones uses HTC’s TouchFLO 3D user interface and has an improved web browser with Flash support.

The HTC Tilt 2 sports a 3.6-inch widescreen WVGA display along with features which includes a 3.2 megapixel camera, 3G connectivity, GPS Navigation, dual speakers and dual microphones with advanced noise cancellation, WiFi and a QWERTY Keypad. The Tilt 2 also comes with HTC’s Straight Talk which simplifies conference calling and activation of the speakerphone by simply turning over the phone.

HTC Tattoo Android Smartphone with Sense UI

Yesterday HTC announced another Android Smartphone, first there was the HTC G1, then came some others which includes the HTC Magic aka G2, we heard of the HTC Hero and here comes the HTC Tattoo Android Smartphone.

The new Android Smartphone features a 2.8-inch resistive touchscreen display with 240×320 resolution, a 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus, WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth and an integration of a wide range of Google services such as Google Maps, search, Google Mail, and Android market where users can download thousands of popular applications and games. Other features on the Tattoo are: an FM Tuner, 4-Way navigation control and it is powered by a Qualcomm MSM7225 528 MHz processor, 512MB ROM and 256MB RAM.

The HTC Tattoo Android Smartphone with Sense UI will be available in Europe first as of October.

Sprint’s HTC Hero Android Phone Looks different

Sprint has gotten their version of the well anticipated HTC Hero android-powered smartphone. The Sprint Version really looks different from the regular one as it has more of a oval shape than the rectangular shape the regular one has.

The Sprint HTC Hero supports CDMA EVDO Rev.A 3G network unlike the regular HTC Hero which supports GSM/WCDMA Networks. It features a 3.2-inch touchscreen display with a 5 megapixel camera, integrated GPS receiver, trackball navigation, WiFi, Bluetooth, and a microSD card slot just like the GSM Version. The Sprint HTC Hero also comes with the custom HTC Sense UI and HTC footprint.

It also comes with app for social networking sites such as Facebook, Flickr and Twitter. The Sprint HTC Hero will be available to customers as of October 11th for a price of $179.99 on a two year contract after a a $50 instant savings and a $100 mail-in rebate

Details of the new entry-level HTC Mega Smartphone has been leaked to the public. This new HTC Smartphone is not android-powered, it will debut the market running the Windows Mobile 6.5 Pro. According to the details leaked the HTC Mega features a 2.8-inch LCD display with a 240×320 resolution.

The HTC Mega has a 3 megapixel camera, a GPS Receiver, a 528 MHz Qualcomm processor, 256 MB of RAM and 3G connectivity. The HTC Mega also will be running the HTC Sense Custom UI version for Windows Mobile. Right now we have no idea when the HTC Mega will be released.

Just after the HTC Hero another HTC Smartphone has just been leaked. It is the HTC Leo Smartphone which is powered by the Windows Mobile 6.5 OS and a Qualcomm’s MSM8250 Snapdragon 1GHz processor, 512MB flash memory and 320MB RAM.

It features a 4.3-inch touchscreen display, a 5 Megapixel Camera with Auto Focus and 2 LED Flashlights. Other specs of the HTC Leo includes WiFi and Bluetooth Connectivity, A-GPS connectivity, 3.5mm audio jack and supports quad-band GSM and dual-band WCDMA/HSPA 3G networks. Word out there is that the HTC Leo is the same HTC Firestone that has been rumored for a while.
