BlackBerry Magnum Smartphone aka Blackberry Dakota

Blackberry Magnum
Hey fans there is a new Blackberry Smartphone in town by the name of the Blackberry Magnum which is also known as the Blackberry Dakota. This new Blackberry packs a hardware QWERTY keyboard and a touchscreen at the same time which I think is quite convenient, so if your touchscreen should go, you will still have the capability to make and receive calls.

It is powered by a 624 MHz CPU similar to what the Bold 9700 runs, pack GPS receiver, 3G with HSDPA and Wi-Fi. I really think the photo which has been circulating on the internet is a which is posted above is definitely a prototype of the magnum as it has no trackball or trackpad, so how would the user navigate?

Blackberry Curve outsells the iPhone

Blackberry Curve
The BlackBerry Curve has moved past Apple’s iPhone to become the best selling smartphone in the United States for the first quarter of 2009. We all know that Research in Motion has been manufacturing the referred smartphones of the corporate smartphone market for sometime now and now they are really dominating as they have three of the top five best-selling consumer smartphones in the period.

According to NPD, a research group, the Blackberry Storm is ranked at #3, the Blackberry Pearl at #4 and T-Mobile G1 at #5.

The iPhone was the top-selling smartphone for both the third and forth quarter of 2008 while the curve was second with the Palm Centro third. According to NPD credits for this rise of the Blackberry Curve is to go to a joint venture between Verizon Communications Inc and Vodafone Group Plc, a “buy-one-get-one” promotion by Verizon Wireless which helped to push the Curve pass the iPhone.

BlackBerry Storm 2 coming with WiFi Connectivity

BlackBerry Storm 2
I would consider this one of the best news since 2009, I don’t know if it is because I am the ultimate Blackberry Fan but we have gotten to understand that the Blackberry Storm should be getting a twin brother really soon. The BlackBerry Storm 2 is expected to carry a better touchscreen display and what I was really expecting from the original BlackBerry Storm, Wifi Connectivity.

So far we have only heard of the improved touchscreen display and the WiFi Connectivity, but who can really tell what else will be added, probably a few free apps, a better camera with some crazy features. But will have to keep the fingers crossed and wait till the BlackBerry Storm 2 is finally here my friends.
