Today we introduce you to the new Peugeot 5 Hybrid Sedan. It is one of the newest Sedan off the Peugeot line although it is not yet available for purchase. It is equipped with a 2.0L HDi FAP diesel engine which is mounted at the front of the vehicle and produces a good 163hp and a 37bhp electric motor at the rear which gives the sedan a total of 200hp.

In addition to its 200hp, the Peugeot is also powered by Peugeot’s Hybrid4 technology. There are other notable specification which includes a automatic four-wheel drive, 19-inch wheels, LED lighting, and a concept-worthy windshield that seems to disappear into the roof, if that’s not cool then I don’t know what is. There has been no pricing details announced for the Peugeot 5 XL as yet.

The 2011 Cruze: Chevrolet Unveils U.S. Version

Chevrolet unveils the U.S. production version of the 2011 Cruze compact sedan at the L.A. Auto Show on Dec. 2. The new Chevy Sedan comes with the option of a Ecotec 1.4L I-4 turbo engine that produces 138 horsepower and 148 torque or a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine.

The 2011 Cruze comes with a six-speed automatic and manual transmissions, rack-mounted electric power steering, electronic stability control with rollover sensing and fuel-saving. There are other features that you will find convenient such as XM Satellite Radio, OnStar Response Monitor, GPS Navigation system, Bluetooth and USB Connectivity. The 2011 Chevrolet Cruze will be available in the US in Q3 2010.

The CEO of Renault-Nissan, Carlos Ghosn is claiming that his company will produce a car that costs less than the $2,500, The Renault-Nissan Tata Nano. This would make it the cheapest car in the world to date, the car will be built by Bajaj Auto, an Indian scooter and rickshaw company.

Bajaj and Renault-Nissan were hoping to get these ultralow priced cars on the road by 2011, however there has been delays since neither Bajaj or Renault-Nissan has ever made such a vehicle.

It is a two-seat sport car which is powered by an aluminum alloy, magnesium alloy and titanium alloy built 4.8-liter V10 engine that gives it a push of over 550 horsepower and a 0-60 time of 3.7 seconds. The Lexus LF-A has a top-speed of 202 mph and has features which includes its Leather trim seats, Carbon Fiber Construction and Carbon Ceramic Material (CCM) Brake Disc.

The Lexus LF-A will be available in 2010 with a starting price of $375,000. Price will go up depending on your customizations.

Yamaha EC-f Electric Motorcycle at the Tokyo Motor Show

At the 2009 Tokyo Motor Show in Japan, Yamaha unveiled its new EC-f electric scooter motorcycle. The electric-powered vehicle is designed to serve as a commuter bike for city dwellers hoping to make their drive to work a bit greener, it is powered by a 0.6 kWh electric motor and has a a lithium-ion battery which can be plugged into a regular power socket and recharged.

The Yamaha Electric Scooter is constructed from lightweight aluminum, there is no release date available or pricing information.
