Casio introduces its IT-800 RGC-35 Rugged Industrial PDA. It is IP54-rated dust/splash proof and can withstand drops on concrete from a height of 1.5 meters, it can operates at temperatures down to –20 ºC which makes it ideal for outdoor use during the day whether it be a hot, cold, or rainy day. The Casio IT-800 RGC-35 comes equipped with a 3.7-inch VGA screen with a low-reflection touch panel and delivers power-saving performance with superior visibility both indoors and outdoors.

Even the display has been made shock resistance and improved by adding a transparent shock absorption material between the LCD and the touch panel. The IT-800 RGC-35 Rugged PDA offers 3G wireless WAN (HSDPA) capability with download speed of up to 7.2 Mbps along with voice capabilities. Its not short of security features as there is a login verification system that uses a contactless smart card, and automatic erasing of PDA data if it is in-active for a while. It is scheduled to release in early 2010
