Buffalo Technology rolled out its new Buffalo DriveStation HD-HXU3 USB 3.0 External Hard Drive at the USB 3.0 Intel Developer Forum 9 (IDF). The Buffalo DriveStation HD-HXU3 is one of the very latest external storage devices from the company, it supports USB 3.0 connectivity as well as USB 2.0.

The Buffalo DriveStation HD-HXU3 USB 3.0 External Hard Drive comes in storage capacities of 1TB, 1.5TB and 2TB sizes. It offers a write speed of up to 125MB/s and also boast the latest hard disk technology. Along with the HD-HXU3 the company also announced the USB 3.0 controller IFC-PCIE2U3, which allows users to advantage of the new speed. Expect to see both new devices in Europe, Middle East and Africa by the end of the year.
