Buffalo has announced that they will be launching the Buffalo BR-PX68U2-BK Portable 6X Blu-ray Writer in Japan. It is an external Blyu-ray burner that writes formats such as BD-R SL/DL, BD-R LTH at up to 6X, BD-RE SL/DL at 2X as well as DVD+/-R at 16X, DVD+R at 8X, DVD-R at 6X and DVD-RAM at 5x. CD-R/RW at also supported at 48X.

The BR-PX68U2-BK Blu-ray Burner comes bundled with CyberLink’s Blu-ray/DVD authoring software and uses USB 2.0 interface. It is also compatible with Windows 7 OS.
