Boxee is a cross-platform freeware media center software with a 10-foot user interface and social networking features designed for the living-room TV. The software works with multiply operating systems which includes Windows, Mac OS X and Linux. Boxee will be getting its own dedicated device really soon.

The Boxee Box will basically bring content, applications and innovations from the internet to your living room, whether it is connected to your TV, game console, set-top box, BluRay player or computer. Boxee will show mockups of the box and share more details at the upcoming Boxee Beta Unveiling event in Brooklyn, NY on 7 December.
