Asus announced the new Xtreme Design P7P55D-E Premium motherboard that comes with true USB 3.0 and SATA 6Gb/s transfer rates. The Asus P7P55D-E is based on Intel’s P55 Express chipset and has a LGA1156 socket for Intel Corei7, Core i5 and Core i3 processors.

The Asus P7P55D-E uses exclusive Hybrid Technology which features a Hybrid Processor, Hybrid Phase, and Hybrid OS—to give users intelligent performance enhancement, active cooling, and rapid online access. There are two PCI-ex 16 slots, two SATA II 6Gb/s connector, 12 USB ports, two 1394a ports and one eSATA port. The motherboard supports CrossFireX and SLI multi GPU configuration and has integrated dual Gigabit LAN port and 10-Ch HD DTS audio.
