Asus has unveiled a new Notebook in Japan which run Microsoft’s new Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit OS. The new Notebook is the Asus UM30 which sports a 13.3-Inch LCD display with LED backlight. The UM30 features an ultra-slim aluminum body which is also pretty much lightweight, measuring 19.6 mm thick and weighing 1.40 kg.

The UM30 Notebook PC is powered by Intel’s Core 2 Duo SU 9400 Processor, 320GB Hard Drive Storage and 3GB of DDR2 SDRAM. There is also a 4-in-1 Card Reader which reads SD, SDHC, Mini SD and MMC cards. The Asus UM30 Notebook has been available in Japan since yesterday afternoon and starts at a price of 100,000 yen
