Asus introduced the Asus U and UX Series Notebook at the CeBit 2009.

The Asus U series is powered by Intel’s Core 2 Duo processor plus up to 500GB hard drive storage, a NVIDIA GeForce G 105M video card with 512MB video RAM. There is a 15.6-inch display, Altec Lansing speakers and SRS true surround sound. The UX series consist of the same specs but in a much slimmer casing, both series comes with a LED-backlit display and a sleek glossy LCD lid.
