Asus announced its new TS Mini Server NAS Device. The TS Mini Server was designed for modern home and small office users for data exchange between multiple computers. It comes with Intel’s Atom N280 1.66GHz processor, Windows Home Server OS, 500GB and 2TB storage capacities, up to 2GB of memory and runs the Windows Home Server OS.

The Asus TS Mini Server has the capability to back up data from up to 10 computers on a daily basis automatically. Users can also back up, synchronize, and manage their files across various USB and eSATA devices and the internal hard disk drive. This is the function that most users will like, users can also use the server’s Remote Access function that allows connection to TS Mini from outside the local network using their personal Windows Live account.

The Asus TS Mini Server is available in 500GB for $349 and 2TB for $529.
