Asus has a new e-Book Reader called the DR-950, it is a 9-inch e-Reader which features a 1024 x 768 touchscreen display, weighs a mere 370 grams which is less than the Amazon Kindle and measures 9mm thick.

The Asus DR-950 will support PDF, TXT, Audible, MP3, ePub, HTML, JPEG, GIF, PNG and BMP file formats. There is also other specs such as an optional 2GB or 4GB of internal memory, a microSD card slot, a text-to-speech reader, WiFi, HSDPA, WiMax, a USB port and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

There is no word on the release date or pricing but keep coming back for updates.
