Archos is planning to launch its Archos 2 Vision Portable Media Player. The Archos 2 Vision PMP comes boasting a 2-inch touchscreen LC display with a screen resolution of 220×176. There is a touch-sensitive horizontal slider which gives the user easy scrolling access to music and volume control.

The device supports MP3, WMA audio and AVI video formats which is stored on its 8GB or 16GB internal memory plus microSD card slot for expansion. Other specs includes an FM Tuner and a Voice Recorder.

The Archos 2 Vision Portable Media Player will be available in Europe soon with the 8GB Version going for 60 euros while the 16GB Version wil be going for 99 euros
