The Air CarA new car making may soon make more economical and environmental friendly car. An air-powered car which is supposed to be developed by Zero Pollution Motors. Zero Pollution Motors say the expertise needed to build a compressed air car, or CAV, is not rocket science. In this process compressed air will be used to power car engine pistons instead of combusting gas or diesel fuel to create a burst of air to do the same thing.

The Air car will be able to give the driver a top speed of 35 mph for some 60 miles on a tank full of compressed air, a sufficient distance for 80% of consumers to commute to work and back home. Zero Pollution Motors are saying that they know consumers won’t have a problem to fork over $20,000 for a vehicle that can run all day on a tank of nothing and a splash of salad oil, alcohol or possibly a pint of gasoline.

That is one funky looking car. It would certainly pay for itself over time if there were no fuel costs involved, providing it’s sturdy enough to last.
