Acer today announced the Aspire 5738DG 3D Notebook to its consumers of the United States. The Aspire 5738DG 3D Notebook features the unique TriDef 3D solution, which includes a 3D screen, software and glasses to enable vibrant 3D visuals. The 5738DG Notebook, not only does it handle 3D content with ease, but the Aspire 5738DG also takes 2D content and replicates a vivid 3D experience.

It packs the power of an Intel Core 2 Duo T6600 2.2GHz processor along with a 320GB hard drive, a 512MB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4570 graphics card, built-in 8X DVD burner and 4GB of DDR2 RAM. It features Acer’s Gemstone design and has a 15.6-inch 1366×768 Acer CineCrystal HD display coated with a special 3D film which clings to the panel pixel by pixel, enabling the LCD technology to deliver a 3D image.

Other specs includes a multi-in-one card reader, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, a multi-gesture touchpad, Dolby-optimized surround sound system with two built-in stereo speakers. The Acer Aspire 5738DG-6165 3D Notebook comes pre-loaded with Windows 7 and has a starting price of $779.99
