Buffalo Technologies recently unveiled its newest USB 3.0 external hard drive (model HD-GDU3). The new external hard drive will be available soon and will come in the storage capacity of 1TB, 2TB and 3TB. The HD-GDU3 utilizes the USB 3.0 connection interface for ultra-fast data transfers, there’s 1GB of DRAM cache plus the company is backing the storage device with a one-year warranty.
The Buffalo HD-GDU3 promises fast data transfer speeds, up to 2.3 times the traditional model USB 3.0 hard drives. It will only take you about 3.5 seconds to copy up to 1,000 photos. All three models, the 1TB, 2TB and 3TB models will start shipping from late February for around $177, $214 and $285, respectively.
