Pantech has another budget-friendly smartphone headed to the US market, via AT&T’s network. The Pantech Discover is the carrier’s name of choice for the previously known Pantech Magnus, which will be made available by the carrier starting on January 11th.
The Discover is a mid-range android smartphone that comes equipped with a 4.8-inch HD display with a 720p resolution, the handset gets an impressive 13-megapixel camera on the rear and a 2-megapixel camera for video calling. It is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm MSM8960 Snapdragon S4 Pro CPU, it features a curvy design, Near Field Communication and a 2,100mAh battery.
Pantech’s Discover will come pre-loaded with Easy Experience Mode option, and AT&T’s DriveMode app that automatically sends auto-replies to text messages when you’re driving. For this incredible handset, AT&T will giving it to customers for the price of only $50 on a new mobile plan.
