Garmin just announced an update to its Approach line of products with the new Approach S2 Golf WristWatch that comes pre-loaded with over 30,000 golf courses worldwide.
The Approach S2 replaces the S1 Golf Watch and comes with a few new features including the ability measure layup and dogleg distances, it keeps track of the users score with a digital scorecard, plus, there are features from the previous model such as the ability to measure distances to the front, back and middle of the green and track shot distance and odometer.
It also comes equipped with Garmin’s GPS receiver to provide accurate measurement. The S2 also comes equipped with a 1-inch monochrome LCD display, and a flexible removable bands for enhanced fit and easy replacement. You have the option to connect the watch to your computer via USB to download, store and print scorecards.
The watch is lightweight and rugged durable and waterproof to 10 meters. Garmin plans to start selling the watch in the colors of white/grey, black/red and purple/white starting in march for the price of $249.99.
