For customers who have been anxiously waiting, Matrox just announced the launch of its new DS1 Thunderbolt Docking Station, which was initially announced back in June of this year. The company has finally launched the device which was designed specially for use with the Apple MacBook Pro and MacBook Air computers.
The Matrox DS1 Thunderbolt Docking Station comes equipped with a Thunderbolt port, 1 x USB 3.0 port, 2 x USB 2.0 ports, audio input and output and Gigabit Ethernet Port. Users who get the new DS1 Thunderbolt Docking Station will have the option to come and go without disconnecting and re-connecting all their peripherals, sans cable cluttering their desks and wear and tear of their computers, Charles Amyot, product manager at Matrox said.
