According to reports, Microsoft recently acknowledged that there was a random reboot issue in Windows Phone 8 devices, the issue was causing devices running the Windows Phone 8 to reboot and it was affecting devices like the HTC Windows Phone 8X and the Nokia Lumia 920.
We’re continuing to investigate some reports of phones rebooting and have identified a cause with our partners. We are working to get an over-the-air update out in December. Now Microsoft has released some more information on when a fix for the random reboot issue on Windows Phone 8 devices will be available, you can see the statement from Microsoft below.
Microsoft will be releasing an over the air software update to fix the random reboot issue for Windows Phone 8 devices some time next month, unfortunately they did not give specific date in December when the update would be available as soon as we get some more information.
