iRobot introduces its new Roomba 600 Series of vacuum cleaning robots which uses a three-stage cleaning system to vacuum carpets, tile, laminate and hardwood floors. The new 600 series was designed with AeroVac technology to optimize airflow and an improved brush design that delivers maximize cleaning results, with less hair remaining tangled on the vacuum’s bristles and a more evenly filled bin.
There’s also the company’s iAdapt Responsive Cleaning technology which enables the Roomba 600 to vacuum every section of your floor multiple times. It also has the Direct Detect function which utilizes the device’s built-in acoustic sensor to find dirtier areas and spends more time cleaning them.
Users can add Virtuall Wall barriers to create an invisible barrier that Roomba won’t cross, keeping Roomba to a particular room or area. The Roomba 600 also returns to its Home Base to dock and charge when it finish cleaning or as soon as the battery life runs down.
The 600 series is available in two separate models, the Roomba 630 and the Roomba 650. They share similar features except for the 650 that gets an onboard scheduling feature that allows you to preset up to seven times per week for Roomba to clean. The Roomba 630 and Roomba 650 are priced at $399.99 and $349.99, respectively.
