Acer is introducing two new Ultrabooks to the market which comes from the Aspire Series and gets the model name S7. The new Aspire S7 Ultrabook will be available in two sizes, 13.3-inch and 11.6-inch models, these are the thinnest and smallest, respectively.
Both devices features a sleek aluminum metallic unibody design and according to the makers they should provide a more engrossing computing experience. The interesting things about these Ultrabooks is that they both comes with a touchscreen display and will be running the new Windows 8 operating system.
The 13.3-inch model offers up to 12 hours of battery life while its smaller sibling gets a battery life of up to 9 hours. The larger model also sports a glossy, sculpted glass cover and delivers a trendy and elegant appearance. Acer also added a feature called the Acer Twin Air cooling system which provides efficient cooling and deliver the best thermal comfort.
All models in the series will feature a lighting-sensing keyboard, which automatically detects changes in lighting conditions and adjusts the keyboard backlight brightness. The manufacturer unveiled the name of the models, the platform they will be running on as well as some of their specifications but it would seem they forgot to unveil the pricing and availability date.
