AT&T has announced that they are now offering a new smartphone to its GoPhone pre-paid customers. The new Samsung Galaxy Appeal comes with a side-slider QWERTY keyboard with four rows of keys.
The handset comes equipped with a 3.2-inch HVGA touchscreen display with a 320×480 pixel resolution, there’s a 3-Megapixel camera with video capabilities, it is powered by an 800MHz single-core processor and a microSD card slot that supports cards up to 32GB.
The Galaxy Appeal measures 112mm x 57.7mm x 14.2mm (4.41in x 2.27in x 0.56in) and weighs 122g (4.3oz). The handset comes with 1300mAh battery which should be good for about 7 hours of talk time or 12.5 days of standby time.
AT&T plans to start offering the Samsung Galaxy Appeal for the price of $149.99 at Walmart stores starting on June 5 and then to other AT&T locations starting on July 15.
