MSI just announced two new gaming laptops to its series of laptops targeted at gaming enthusiasts, they are the GE60 and GE70 models. Both models will feature Intel’s latest mobile Ivy Bridge quad-core processors and the new generation of NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M discrete graphics cards.
The MSI GE60 comes with a 15.6-inch LCD display and weighs just 2.5kg while the GE70 gets a 17.3-inch LCD display and weighs in at 2.8kg. Both models are powered by an integrated Ivy Bridge graphics processor and the on-board GeForce GT 650M video cards that also features 2GB of memory.
For storage there’s either a 750GB hard drive or a 500GB hard drive which both spins at 7200 rpm. The notebooks also comes with 8GB of memory and features MSI’s Audio Boost solution that brings next-generation sound technology to an even higher level of perfection.
There are a few connectivity ports including USB 3.0, HDMI 1.4, it also supports WiFi 802.11b/g/n connectivity, an integrated Webcam, an optical DVD drive and Windows 7 Ulimate, Professional or Home Premium pre-installed before shipping.
