ADATA Technology announces the availability of the XPG SX900 Solid State Drive for the US and Canada markets. The new XPG SX900 series will be available in four storage capacities; these includes a 64GB, a 128GB, 256GB and 512GB versions.
The XPG (Xtreme Performance Gear) family of products utilizes a SATA III 6Gbps interface and uses a SandForce 2281 controller. The 512GB version delivers a maximum sequential read and write speeds are 550/530MB per second, with maximum random 4k write speeds as high as 85,000 IOPS.
The SX900 will work just perfect with both desktop and notebook computers, it adopts specially selected flash chips and support the Windows TRIM command for efficient allocation of unused space.
All four models are now available in the US and Canada from online retailers such as Amazon and Newegg, they go for the suggested retail prices of $119.99, $189.99, $329.99 and $669.99, respectively.
